The Lisburn City Centre Ministers’ Fellowship meet monthly to:

  • Be supportive of each other.
  • To encourage inter-denominational co-operation.
  • To share concern for Lisburn City Centre community.

Each Easter, they organise the Good Friday ‘Carrying of the Cross’ march of witness in Lisburn.  Led by the ministers, the procession makes its way along Bow Street to Market Square for a short act of Worship, witnessing the importance of the Lord’s death and resurrection as our only hope for life and eternity.

In December each year, they organise a “Carols In the City” Christmas concert, which is held in the Island Hall, Lagan Valley Island, bringing together people from all sections of our community to celebrate the message of Christmas in a spirit of oneness and festive joy. Money raised is donated to local charities.  Proceeds from the 2003 Christmas concert were donated to Thompson House and Tear Fund; and proceeds from the 2004 concert were donated to Prospects and Trocaire.

During the months of July and August four of the city centre congregations - Seymour Street Methodist, First Lisburn, Railway Street and Lisburn Cathedral, join for a Summer Epilogue Service at 8.00pm.
