Megan's smiling face lights up the summer

THE
winner of the Ulster Star's Face of Summer 2010 competiton in association
with the Style Academy model agency is 19year-old Megan Boe.
Megan, from the Glenavy Road, has won a host of prizes including a fabulous makeover and the chance of a contract with Style Academy.
Her prizes include: Designer sunglasses, glasses or contact lenses up to the value of £250 from PJ Brogans; a whiter smile with laser teeth whitening from the White Smile Company; a hair make-over from the experts at Horizon Hair; £50 gift voucher for food at Del Toro restaurant; a make-up lesson and application with make-up portrait photo from Ciara Daly, leading make-up artist and a £200 voucher for non surgical treatments at Medi-cosmetic.
Megan, who has recently completed her A-levels, said she is delighted to have been selected as the readers, choice.
"I am over the moon. I really didn't expect to win. I entered at the last moment after my granny told me to and I hunted out a few photos to send off just before I left to go on holiday" she said.
The former St. Patrick's Academy pupil says she is hoping she will get some work with Style Academy when she starts studying for a journalism degree with the University of Ulster in the autumn.
"I have already had my hair make-over with Horizon and it was brilliant being pampered. I can't wait to get all my other lovely prizes" a delighted Megan said.
