HISTORY

The Fellowship of Independent Methodist Church bought the site and Windsor House (now the manse) at Causeway End Road in 1980. The congregation met for worship in the house until a portable building was erected in 1981. The minister, the Rev. Raymond Moore was installed in June 1985. The manse was renovated in 1990 and the church and suite of halls were built in 1999. From small and humble beginnings it has grown to become a thriving place of worship with a growing congregation of all ages.

Brief history as recorded in a book ‘Lisburn’s Rich Church Heritage’ by John Kelly
