HISTORY

Mr Herbie Henderson, Mr Taylor, Johnny Walker, Sammy Andrews, Cyril Latimer and Victor Martin founded the congregation in 1948. The first Meeting House was in Bridge Street above the Times Office and the building is now the Dromore Elim Pentecostal Church. The present Meeting House at Pound Hill (top of Meeting Street) was opened for worship in November 1953.
