TWO girls have made it through to the final of the Miss Northern Ireland Competition after beating off stiff competition during a heat held last week in Distil Nightclub at The Cardan Bar and Grill.

At the Lisburn Heat of this year's Open + Direct Miss Northern Ireland competition Ciara McStravick from Stoneyford was named Miss Distil and Rebekah Wallace took the title Miss Lisburn after being selected out of 22 girls.

Judges on the night included Finola Guinnane (Miss Northern Ireland), Andrew Ewing representing title sponsor Open + Direct, Alison Clarke from the ACA Agency and the event organiser as well as John Poots and Peter Galloway representing The Cardan Bar and Grill.

The girls will now go forward to compete at the black tie final event in The Europa Hotel on May 14.
