LISBURN architects Knox & Clayton have celebrated a milestone event with the company's 25th anniversary. A celebratory event held in the President's Club, Belfast was attended by Environment Minister Edwin Poots who congratulated the company on their work over the past 25 years.

Established in 1984 by Ernest Knox the practice now offers a wide range of architectural services throughout the UK and Ireland in a number of market sectors including health, education, leisure, housing, retail and industry.

The company's latest project has been to design Templepatrick Primary School which opened its doors to pupils just last month.

Other recent projects include Lisburn Institute and Tollymore Mountain Centre, both due for completion in 2010.

Originally working from his front room in Lisburn, Ernest Knox was soon joined by Des Clayton and the practice moved to its current premises at 2a Wallace Avenue in Lisburn in 1989. Jiradej Ermongkonchai and Lawrence Power have become partners over the last three years.
