CARR Baptist Church has been spreading the word of the 'Amazing Journey' of Christ to children in local schools recently.

For over ten years, Bible Society NI has been supporting the Baptist Youth Department's Amazing Journey Bible Storytelling project, which takes God's story into Primary schools across Ireland, inspiring children with stories told simply from the Bible.

Children who take part in the Amazing Journey presentation are also offered the chance to receive a Bible and Carr Baptist's Pastor Clifford Morrison recently visited

Carr and Riverdale Primary Schools with Rachel Brown, The Amazing Journey Co-ordinator, to present Bible's to the children.

Pastor Morrison presented over 100 Bible's on behalf of the Church at Carr to the children during his visit to the school's on Friday February 4. The Amazing Journey Co-ordinator, Rachel Brown stated: "We visited the school's in November to do The Amazing Journey presentation. At that time children were able to request a Bible and they were also presented with a pack with Luke's Gospel.

The story takes children from Creation to Christ. The children really loved it, they got to dress up in Bible-style clothes and eat Bible food. It is a lot of fun, with the presentation suitable for children of all Primary school ages."

Rachel added: "The Amazing Journey is offered free of charge to schools. We do this for thousands of children each year who thoroughly enjoy it; it is the greatest story in the world."
