Lisburn School of Music
Lisburn School of Music was stated in March 2002 by principal Stephen
McLoughlin. Situated in centre of the city, the school has an ethos of
creating a relaxed and fun atmosphere for all levels of musicians to learn
and interact. Stephen progressed from a music degree to a research degree
MPhil, when he had an opportunity to explore his chosen field of Schenkerian
Analysis. For several years Stephen has been a part time lecturer of
Schenkenian Studies in the University of Ulster. |

Ned Kelly Band
The Ned Kelly Band have been making music for the past nine years and have
been gigging around Ireland and France, playing music to live audiences
which is what the band love doing. The band have just finished producing
their fourth album “Angry Men” which has 14 new tracks.
Ned says, We find it exciting and creative doing our own stuff, I love to
write songs and give them to the band and listen to them evolve. I don’t
think you can pigeon hole our music because we play a variety of styles from
blues, rock, country rock. I love to put a little humour in my songs at
times as I like nothing better than a good laugh. |
