| Q&A
					 JENNIFER
McBride, 30, is a member of the the team from Finaghy
Methodist Church going to Tanzania this summer to help local
people in the village of Magu build a multi-purpose building
to be used for a worship centre, a nursery school, community
events, youth centre, health care and library. The team will
also be involved in other projects including supplying water
pumps to develop small farms and working with schools and
families. In 2005 she travelled to Tanzania and
because of the success of that visit and the impression made
in the very poor part of Africa she decided to return. Since
her last visit the Church has been supporting 151 orphans
living with extended families and friends as well as
supplying hundreds of mosquito nets. What do you like doing on your day
off?Meeting up with friends, spending time with my Godchildren,
shopping, eating, and talking on the phone.
If you were to choose your favourite
meal what would it be, where and why?Coming home from Tanzania after eating potatoes and rice for
three weeks to my Mum's Sunday dinner.
What has been your proudest moment? Watching my brother cross the finish line at the Belfast
Marathon after running 26 miles for the Tanzania project. My
family and friends have been so amazing and supportive of my
passion for the work in Tanzania.
What was the most frightening moment of
your life?I can't think of one on the spot.
How would you describe your taste in
clothes?I would like to be trendy but prefer comfy clothes too
much. The most I have spent was 130 on a handbag. I think I
have a concerning addiction to Radley bags.
What would you do if you won a million
pounds?Too much responsibility. I would have no idea how to
					spend that much money.
What was your most embarrassing moment?
Oh my goodness I have so many.
What music do you like?I am an original Take Thater watching them back on
tour is like being 16 again they are fantastic.
What sports person do you most admire?
There isn't one person in particular.
Describe your best ever holiday. What
would your dream holiday be? -When I was in Tanzania in 2005, we took a three day
holiday from the building site and stayed in the Serengeti.
it was one of the most fantastic experiences of my life. We
saw lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos
and crocodiles I loved every minute of it. It was lovely
to have a couple of days to relax after all the building
					work.
 What is your greatest remaining
ambition? To make a difference to less fortunate people.
If you could spend a day with a celebrity
					whom would you choose?Wentworth Millar.
If you were stranded on a desert island
what three things would you want with you?All my photographs, a bible and lots of chocolate.
