CARLY Foster,19, from Lisburn recently completed A Levels at Hunterhouse and will be leaving soon to teach English for 12 months in Gansu Province in China with the educational charity `Project Trust'.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I'm usually up at about 7am and out for a run. There's nothing I hate more than lazing about or wasting a day in bed.

If you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be, where and why?
Anything from a little cafe in the middle of Paris because I love French food.

What has been your proudest moment?
After reading about refugees in Sudan I was left extremely troubled. So I suppose my proudest moment would be when my appeal to my headmistress and school to raise money for the refugees was successful.

What was the most frightening moment of your life?
Jumping out of a rickety Cuban airplane at 10,000 feet on my 18th birthday.

How would you describe your taste in clothes?
I like to mix things up a little bit and wear the odd eccentric little number.

What's the most you ever spent on a single item?
�100 on my white coat from Covent Garden.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
Phone my partner in crime. Lucy. and tell her to pack her suitcase and go on a round the world trip.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
When my car broke down outside the omniplex blocking the entrance to the KFC car park. I'd just passed my test that day and six people turned up to my rescue.

What music do you like?
I like my indie but have a lot of influences, my brothers like their metal, my dad plays Irish music and most of my friends are into r'n'b and dance. So if it's decent I'll probably appreciate it. Describe your best ever holiday.

What would your dream holiday be?
I've had some great girly holidays but last summer in Cuba with my family was amazing. I can't wait to see China although I can't imagine it'll be any sort of a holiday.

What is your greatest remaining ambition?
To become Secretary General of the UN

If you could spend a day with a celebrity whom would you choose?
J K Rowling so I could torture her with questions.

If you were stranded on a desert island what three things would you want with you?
Solar powered ipod to keep me sane, Ray Mears to provide the essentials and Jake Gyllenhaal to enhance the view.
