Hayes, 21, studies journalism at Belfast Institute of
Further and Higher Education. She lives in Carryduff with
her family and has just completed a month's work placement
with the Star. Q&AWhat do you like doing on your day off?
Have a long lie in followed by a day of retail therapy. Then
I'd go out with my boyfriend.
Q&AIf you were to choose your favourite meal what would it be,
					where and why?
Probably a pizza in Italy because pizza is my favourite food
and Italy is a beautiful country.
Q&AWhat has been your proudest moment?
Winning the BBC young sports reporter of the year. I was
only 15 and was overwhelmed by the experience.
Q&AWhat was the most frightening moment of your life?
When I got trapped in an elevator in a shopping centre. I
hate small spaces and it was the scariest 20 minutes of my
					life.
Q&AHow would you describe your taste in clothes? What's the
most you ever spent on a single item?
I'm pretty casual - just jeans and trainers when I'm not
working. I once spent nearly 100 on a winter coat in a
summer sale. By the time winter came I didn't like it any
					more and gave it away.
Q&AWhat would you do if you won a million pounds?
Buy houses and cars for family then go on a year long
					holiday to America.
Q&AWhat was your most embarrassing moment?
I once bought a pair of shoes to wear out to a club.
Stupidly I didn't try them on. When I wore them they were
far too big and because I didn't have anything else to wear
I had to spend the whole night shuffling around the club in
case they fell off. My friends couldn't stop laughing.
 Q&AWhat music do you like?
A bit of everything - 'No Doubt' and 'Maroon 5' are my
					favourites.
Q&AWhat sports person do you most admire?
Amir Khan - he proves what a young person with talent and
					determination can do.
Q&ADescribe your best ever holiday. What would your dream
					holiday be?
My best holiday was when I went to New York for my 18th
birthday. I had a ball. My dream holiday would be to go to
Los Angeles and visit Sunset Boulevard.
Q&AWhat is your greatest remaining ambition?
 To go to Los Angeles.
Q&AIf you were on a desert island what three things would you
					like to take with you?
Sun tan lotion, MP3 player and a little boat so I could
