What do you like doing on your day off?
I like to relax and do as little as possible to be honest. I might go shopping and meet friends for a meal.

Steak, chips and peppered sauce from Bar Burgandy. The food is lovely and the service is first class.

When I am about to go on stage - at the very last moment the nerves start.

I don't conform to the latest fashion. I buy things that suit me. I once spent �275 on a beautiful dress.

I would start up a Musical Academy as I think there is so much musical talent in the local area.

What was your most embarrassing moment?
As part of my Licentiate Diploma I had to sing in full costume. I had to change behind a screen, which I accidentally knocked over and the judges saw me in my underwear.

I am a trained opera singer and obviously enjoy opera music but I do like all sorts of music.
