Ciara-Marie Shevlin, 21, from Lisburn recently spent time at the Star seeing what life is like as a journalist. She graduated from Queen's University with a First Class Honours Degree in English and Drama and hopes to complete a Masters in English.

What do you like doing on your day off?
I like to lie-in then read a book and do some writing.

My favourite meal is Christmas Day dinner at home with all the people I care about because it makes me happy.

My proudest moment was when I got my certificate for graduating with a First Class Honours degree - because it was a challenge.

Going into the sea in Gran Canaria. I have an irrational phobia of sea creatures.

How would you describe your taste in clothes? What's the most you ever spent on a single item?
My taste in clothes is quite laid back. I'm a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl. The most I've ever spent was around �60 on shoes. I don't wear labels.

What would you do if you won a million pounds?
If I won a million pounds I would get married, buy a house for myself and another for my family. I would pay off my student loan and take it easy for a while.

Describe your best ever holiday. What would your dream holiday be?
My best ever holiday was in Nice, France. My Fianc�, Ian took me for my 21st birthday. Then he proposed in a beautifully lit park by the beach.
My dream holiday will be my honeymoon where ever it is.
