HARRY and Violet Pierce from Lisburn recently celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Over eighty relatives and friends gathered for a celebratory meal and get-together, including their bridesmaid, Lily Rutledge, and best man, John Pierce.

A large number of their relatives travelled from Co Fermanagh, where Harry and Violet grew up. Their sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren organised the surprise celebration.
