A thanksgiving service was held in Priesthill Methodist Churches on Sunday evening 22nd June to mark the retirement of the Rev Robert Wallace, minister of Dromore and Priesthill Methodist Churches since July 2000. Circuit Superintendent, the Rev Brian Anderson, minister of Seymour Street Methodist Church, Lisburn, was the preacher. During his address, Mr Anderson spoke about Robert�s ministerial qualities in threefold namely - his love for the Scriptures; his pastor�s heart; and his passion for Christ.

Former colleagues and representatives from Dromore and Priesthill congregations paid further tributes to Robert and his wife Barbara, during supper which was served in a packed hall afterwards.

Robert and Barbara will spend their retirement in Lisburn and do so with the best wishes of all their many Methodist friends.
