First Lisburn Girls' Brigade (4th N. I. Company) held their 66th Annual Display in First Lisburn Presbyterian Church Hall last Saturday night (12th April). The Chairman, the Rev John Brackenridge, welcomed a packed hall of girls, parents and visitors. The guest of honour was Mrs Jill Craig, who presented the awards and presided at the piano. During the evening the Captain, Mrs Maureen Killiner, gave a detailed report of the Girl's activities and achievements during the year.

The packed programme included: Singing games, turning ropes and pointing toes - Tiny Tots; Marching and games - Juniors; Washday and freework - Explorers; Competition freework - Brigaders; Scarves - Seniors; Strictly Come First Lisburn - Seniors and Brigaders; Skipping by Georgia Collins and Gemma Crockett and the Brigader solos by Kathryn Millen and Erin Shanks. The company item was a high school musical and the finale was a mime and P.E. work to 'The Prayer' by Brigaders.

In presenting the awards, Jill Craig thanked the leaders and girls for a wonderful well-polished display and the Rev John Brackenridge, in closing, thanked the girls for a great fun evening in good company.

A delightful supper was served after the display.
