'As part of their 50th Anniversary celebrations, Finaghy Baptist Church will host an 'Evening of Music' on Saturday 18th October at 7.30pm featuring Alan McClure, violinist and JinHyeog Glissmann, soprano, who will be performing a mixture of light classical and sacred music and songs from the Shows.

Alan McClure is well known in Northern Ireland as a violinist, violist, pianist and teacher. He performs regularly with the Ulster Orchestra and also plays both violin and viola with the Ireland String Quartet, the Dennison String Quartet and the West Ocean String Quartet.

JinHyeog Glissmann is from South Korea and is currently Director of Music in Harmony Hill Presbyterian Church, Lambeg. She graduated in singing from ChunNam National University and is also an accomplished pianist.

Both Alan and JinHyeog are committed Christians who believe their talent is a gift from God and they pursue ways of serving Him through music. They have both played and led worship in their own churches for many years and feel they are communicating something of His love whilst bringing pleasure to others through this medium.

Everyone is very welcome to attend what promises to be a wonderful evening of music; admittance is free and light refreshments will be served.
