Ladies Night at Legacurry raises funds for overseas outreach work.

A Ladies Night was held at Legacurry Presbyterian Church on Saturday 6th May to raise funds for six young people from the church who will be going overseas on missionary outreach work in August.  The event included various stalls for jewellery, cards and cakes; and the opportunity to have a manicure.  There was also an auction of talents that included: driving lessons, piano lessons, guitar lessons, gardening, washing cars, washing windows, motorbike rides to a seaside town for ice cream and even cooking a romantic candlelight meal for two.

Natalie Trainor - Legacurrys Family and Youth Worker, Christina Dobson, Michelle Graham, Lynsey Liddle and Clare Liddle will be going to Romania from Thursday 3rd to Friday 18th August, where they will be involved in running a Youth Camp organised by Eastern Europe for Christ.  Also in August, Andrew Liddle will be going to Kenya where he will be involved in a film project to produce Sunday School training material for use throughout the Presbyterian Church of East Africa.
