Next Saturday and Sunday, Elmwood
Presbyterian Church will throw open its doors to the whole
Ballymacash community for a Community Weekend. A Fun Day will
be held in the grounds of the church on Saturday 27th
May from 1pm to 4pm and will feature fun attractions for all the
family including bouncy castles, face-painting, games and a
display of birds of prey. A special community morning service
on Sunday 28th May at 11.30am will be attended by
several community representatives including the Right Worshipful
the Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Craig, who will read a lesson.
The speaker will be the Rev Andrew Thompson and the special
guests are Ballymacash Primary School choir. Light refreshments
will be served after the service providing the opportunity to
meet, chat and make new friends. An invitation is extended to
everyone in the whole Ballymacash community and beyond; you will
be assured of a very warm welcome.
